Relate to Your Mate Seminar

Overview

It’s not what you say, but how you say it that makes all the difference. Next Element presents Relate to Your Mate, a Process Communication seminar where you will learn skills to connect more effectively, truly value each others’ point of view, meet each others’ needs more effectively, and negotiate conflict while remaining “I’m OK, You’re OK.” Successful relationships take effort, and this seminar will provide proven strategies for a more fulfilling partnership.

Target Audience

Couples looking to significantly enhance their relationship.

Description

Miscommunication is at the root of most relationship conflicts. Research shows that couples who communicate effectively during conflict have significantly higher success in their relationship. This seminar is designed to improve communication skills by increasing self-awareness and appreciating differences. The course identifies you and your partner’s personality structure and dynamics, teaches skills to connect with your partner, and outlines how to get needs met in healthy ways as well as the predictable ways that people and relationships change over time. Most importantly, you will leave with a better understanding of how to deal with negative distress patterns that can sabotage good intentions, and turn them into building blocks for growth.

Our trainers share their personal stories and success using the PCM in their lives. You will return home with new hope, new skills, and specific action steps to improve your relationship.

Dates

Available for private group booking, such as church groups and community service groups.
