NEXT ELEMENT E-NEWS

2009 August Issue

“I enjoyed this training very much. Jamie Remsberg is excellent at
what she does and is very knowledgeable. There were no dull moments at all. You come away from the training with a vast amount of ideas and resources to use in your work.”  – Kat McLaren, Therapist/Case Manager, New Hope Heartland, Norwich, KS

Q&A

“What are Soft Skills?”
Soft Skills are the “how” of communication. Beyond the content of what is
being said, soft skills involve interacting intra-personally,
inter-personally, and within groups to deal with the nuances of situations
to connect and motivate people. When facilitating and leading, soft skills
involve the ability to empower and influence learning and growth. We
believe that soft skills go beyond just tolerating diversity to focusing on
leveraging diversity – truly empowering differences towards group goals.

“It’s a funny thing about life; if you refuse to accept anything but the
best, you very often get it.” – W. Somerset Maugham
