THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS A BAD QUESTION.

We’ll tell you anything you want to know about ourselves, our company and our services. Here are a few common questions we’ve already answered.

DO YOU REALLY PROVIDE FREE EXECUTIVE TEAM COMMUNICATION ASSESSMENTS?

Yes, we do. During the course of our assessment, we hope to discover at least one or two helpful tips that you can use immediately. We think it’s a good way to help companies succeed and a good way to earn your business. If you like what we have to offer, the assessment is a beneficial way to determine if your company and Next Element are a good fit and value for each other. There is one catch: We will travel up to 3 hours from Wichita to do the assessment for free. If it’s further, we are happy to discuss options that address travel costs.

HOW DO YOU ADDRESS EMPLOYEES WHO DON’T WANT CHANGE?

Resistance to change is common. And if it’s not managed well, it can sabotage management’s best-intended efforts. We help identify behaviors and attitudes that are incompatible with positive growth. Then we develop effective strategies to deal with them. Read more at our blog post Setting Free Your Corporate Prisoners.

WHAT DOES YOUR NAME MEAN?

The word “Next” refers to the future. Our philosophy is to move beyond what’s always been and look forward to new possibilities. “Element” has two meanings. It refers to the smallest unit or component in a system, like an atom. And it defines those conditions that allow optimal functioning: “I’m really in my element now!” Together, our name says we are constantly looking for new ways for our clients to design the optimal relationship contexts that will help them succeed.

WHAT IS PCM?

PCM® stands for Process Communication Model, a language-based communication and conflict-management model developed by Dr. Taibi Kahler of Hot Springs, Ark. We have found PCM to be superior to any other personality assessment and communication model. Our focus is more on the “how” than on the “what.” At Next Element, we help people become more self-aware and skilled at dealing with the nuances of communication and relationships. PCM is a terrific framework that helps our clients in this process.

DO YOU DO TEAM BUILDING?

Yes! And, our unique approach may be surprisingly different than previous team building activities you may have experienced. Our focus is on helping teams develop shared skills and norms for building trust, accountability, commitment and productive conflict.

WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU DO?

While each of our working relationships with clients is different, our goal is to empower and inspire leaders to be more effective through better communication. The result is teams and organizations that function more efficiently and productively. Often, our focus is on personality and communication style. We guide people to gain greater awareness and command  of their own style, strengths and preferences. Along the way, we teach our clients new skills to motivate their teams towards greater professional and personal success.
