Overview

Effective change-agents facilitate self-efficacy, the belief in ones ability to succeed in specific situations and contexts. This 2-day workshop combines theory with practice by teaching the basic principles behind self-efficacy along with practical tips for applying these principles in your work. Experience growth in your self-efficacy as you learn new tools and apply existing tools in new ways.

Target Audience

Facilitators, trainers, youth leaders, group therapists, and coaches.

Learning Objectives

  • Define self-efficacy and its relevance to facilitation.
  • Explain the three processes of self-efficacy.
  • Differentiate self-efficacy and other self-related concepts.
  • Demonstrate four ways to facilitate increased self-efficacy through facilitation.

Cancellation Policy: To receive a full refund, minus a $50 processing fee, cancellations must be received three weeks prior to the program start date.  Cancellations made fewer than three weeks in advance are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.  No refunds will be given once a course has started.  Next Element reserves the right to cancel a course if less than the minimum number of participants enroll.  Full refunds will be made should such cancellation be required.
