Rules of engagement are the guidelines that employees create together, enforce together, and internalize for themselves and their peers. A core competency of a good leader is the ability to facilitate behavioral norms for their group.

How many times have we seen someone say that, “nobody could ever do that,” only to read in the paper that that exact thing had just been accomplished? I contend that many things we see as impossible is a limit of our mind, not reality.
