NE CORNER
“Just lean into it,” what a concept! Jack Canfield speaks about this in
“The Success Principles.” Intentionally opening yourself to
opportunities, stepping into the unknown without knowing the outcome, with
no expectations, and being willing to pursue what you believe, feel or
think, at a steady pace. The energy and momentum from leaning in to it, can
unlock opportunities and has truly been a concept that Next Element has
embraced and continues to practice. -JR

QUOTE
“You can’t cross a sea by merely staring into the water.”
- Rabindranath Tagore, 1913 Nobel laureate for literature
WHITE PAPER
Children are largely unaware, yet acutely sensitive to the “process” of
communication: the tones, gestures, postures, and facial expressions of
those on whom they depend in their lives. Learn more at our website White
Paper, “PCM and Child Development.” -NR

PCM NUGGET
School is here and it is a great time to remember how teacher and student
personality interactions effect grades, attendance, behaviors and overall
performance. Remember IQ is only one part of the equation in determining
student success. -JK
BOOK RECOMMENDATION
“Evolve Your Brain,” by Joe Dispenza, D.C
This is a great, although lengthy book, that starts by describing how the
author was hit by a car while riding a bike in a triathlon competition. He
then shares how he has healed his broken back without surgery or other
traditional therapies. He explains how incredible, flexible and growing the
brain is, or can be. Hold on and get ready to be challenged on some of your
old school thoughts and beliefs about the brain. Not only does he challenge
traditional beliefs, his story of recovery is truly inspiring. It does have
some scientific jargon, however it is a thought provoking, inspiring and
hopeful message. He contends that we all can evolve our brain, and I hope
he is right. -JK

NEW RESEARCH PARTNERSHIP
Next Element is partnering with a local school to study the impact of
daily laughter on behavior and academic performance. Could this be the
answer to No Child Left Behind? -NR

HOT WING UPDATE
Buffalo Wild Wings Mango Habanero gets a 4.3, highest rating thus far. It
has a great sweet taste that also has a great burn. The burn does not send
you to the ice machine or milk jug, however it does require a beverage. The
sweet-sour flavor invites you to finish the entire basket and order another
batch. However it is not for the faint of heart, because it does carry a
punch!
